WHO WE ARE AND WHERE WE ARE
Xarcuteria Ferran is a fourth-generation family business with a more than 100 year history, currently located in a central corner of Barcelona: C/ Pau Claris on the corner of C/ Diputació.
We have two locations right next to each other, we offer everything to cover the day-to-day needs of any home, company, worker or tourist. On the one hand there is the delicatessen, with a wide variety of products, a careful selection of sausages, hams, cheeses, wines, cavas, preserves and many more tasty delights! And on the other hand, our tasting room, where you will find a large assortment of sandwiches, artisan sweets and cooked dishes to take away, or where you can also enjoy, right there, in our table space, a good breakfast, a vermouth, an aperitif or your midday meal (see menu).
In addition, we also offer catering services for companies and individuals, for all types of meetings and celebrations.
OUR HISTORY
Cansaladeria Ferran was opened in 1920 by Miquel Ferran, located next to the Santa Caterina market, in the old town of Barcelona. Today, after four generations and a century of tradition, we are still active and more eager than ever to offer the best products and the best service to our customers.
Now Xarcuteria Ferran is located in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample neighborhood. We continue to be a family business where Pere, Miquel’s grandson, and his wife, Mª Creu, together with the help of their two children, Judith and Alexis and a dedicated staff, offer a friendly and personalized service, because for us the most important thing is the customer and their satisfaction.
Pere Ferran’s long career as a charcutier was officially recognized when, in 2002, the Generalitat of Catalonia awarded him the “Charter of Mestre Artesà Alimentari”.

BUSINESS HOURS
Delicatessen: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (we do not close at midday) and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays and holidays closed.
Gourmet Tasting room: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and holidays closed.
